Leigh Lisbão Underwood is a cinematographer and photographer. His cinematography work is in fiction films, documentaries and commercials, while his photography encompasses documentary, portrait and street photography.
His journey in photography began as an impulse to document the world around him, but grew into its own unique form of creative storytelling. His body of work reflects on the human condition in relation to its surroundings, both natural and man-made. It wrestles with questions about childhood and coming of age, family and generations, destruction and reconstruction, loneliness and togetherness in the context of our rapidly changing society.
Leigh is based in Berlin, Germany and Los Angeles, California.
